And Bill Belichick is learning this the hard way.

Belichick used to be recognized as one of the greatest NFL coaches of all time.

He has an amazing record of 281 wins and only 138 losses spanning back to 1991.

But most of those wins came with Tom Brady as his quarterback for the Patriots.

The coach-quarterback combo won a staggering six Super Bowls together.

But last year, when Belichick let Tom Brady go to Tampa Bay, many fans were livid.

And the Patriots’ record since Brady left hasn’t helped the situation with fans.

The Patriots went a disappointing 7-9 last year and have started this season with a 1-3 record.

All while Brady has gone on to win another Super Bowl ring.

And before the match-up this past Sunday between the Patriots and the Buccaneers, fans let Belichick know how they really felt.

Patriot fans decided to troll Belichick’s drive into work leading up to the match-up with a message.

Fans rented out a billboard which read, “The OWL is no longer Wise without his GOAT.”

The real question is what will the Patriots do with Belichick if they end up with another losing season?

It’s worth noting that his record without Brady as his quarterback is just 63-75.
