Brett Favre has been facing legal troubles for years now in Mississippi.

But it looks like a conclusion to all the investigations could be coming to an end and it isn’t looking good for him.

In fact, Favre’s days as a free man may be numbered after he sat down with the FBI.

Life after NFL careers end has been a nightmare for many previous players.

After a fruitful college and NFL career, OJ Simpson became most famous for his police car chase.

And poor Terry Bradshaw was one hell of a quarterback but in retirement he became best known for being one of the biggest babbling idiots.

But one NFL alum is about to become famous for his off-the-field issues even though he is one of the best quarterbacks of our lifetime.

Brett Favre has been dealing with an ongoing legal issue with the state of Mississippi over welfare fraud claims.

And even though the state of Mississippi hasn’t pressed charges, at this point, the FBI has decided to step in.

According to Fox News, Budd Holmes, Favre’s lawyer, admitted that Favre has been questioned by the FBI for the ongoing investigation into the supposed welfare fraud case.

Favre has addressed the issue in the past.

The former stud of a quarterback stated on Twitter, “I am doing all that I can to support this investigation to make things right for the people of Mississippi and I have shared all that I know, which is that I was paid for three years of commercials that I did, and I paid taxes on the money, as I should.”

Only time will tell if Favre gets to stay clear of any charges.

But it’s undeniable that the list of NFL alumni that go on to be famous for things outside of the football field continues to grow.
