The sports world was shocked to hear reports that legendary golfer Tiger Woods was involved in an ugly crash.

Reports soon surfaced that Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies were forced to use the jaws of life to remove Woods from the vehicle so first responders could whisk him to the hospital.

And then Donald Trump called in to Fox News to deliver this major update on Tiger Woods.

Donald Trump called in to Fox News Primetime to update the audience on the condition of his friend Tiger Woods.

Trump told host Katie Pavlich that Woods was doing well.

“Well, I was really surprised. And, you know, he is doing so well. He’s — he’s getting — the back in shape, and then a thing like this happens. He’s had a big problem as you know with his back for a long period of time and it’s amazing,” Trump stated.

Trump added that the injuries Woods suffered were to his legs and not life threatening.

“It’s — it’s pretty bad on the legs, I understand. And, you know, he’ll figure a way. But he’s a — he is a wonderful person,” Trump added.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff said there were no signs Woods was impaired while driving.

Back on Thanksgiving weekend in 2008, Woods’ career entered a downward spiral when he was injured after he crashed his car while allegedly under the influence of prescription painkillers, after his wife Elin Nordegren found out Woods was carrying on an affair with Rachel Uchitel.

Woods did not win another major for ten years until the 2019 Masters, after which President Trump awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Fortunately, Woods injuries do not appear to be life threatening and fans are hoping Woods has one more storybook comeback in him.
