For months, LeBron James frustrated the left-wing sports media by refusing to say if he was vaccinated.
The corporate-controlled sports media – like the corporate-controlled political media – engaged in a furious pressure campaign to force everyone to submit to mandatory vaccination for the coronavirus.
Left-wing sports writers fumed that James – the biggest star in the NBA – refused to join in on the vaccination crusade.
That’s because while 90 percent of NBA players are vaccinated, the media is furious that ten percent are holding out because the NBA does not mandate vaccinations for players.
On the eve of NBA training camp, James finally admitted that he was vaccinated but that it “wasn’t his job” to pressure anyone else to get the jab.
At media day for the Los Angeles Lakers, James explained he got the vaccine to make sure he was available for every game.
“At the end of the day you’re always trying to figure out ways that you can be available and protect one another and put yourself in the best possible chance where you are available to your team-mates, available to do what we need to do on the floor,” James explained.
“The ultimate goal is to win a championship and it starts with being healthy which is the number one thing,” James added.
Players such as Bradley Beal, Kyrie Irving, Jonathan Isaac, and Andrew Wiggins are among the high-profile vaccine holdouts.
The left-wing sports media relentlessly attacks these players demanding they take the vaccine.
Corporate-controlled media members were surely hoping that LeBron James would aid them in this pressure campaign.
But LeBron James – for once – passed on the opportunity to join the latest trendy left-wing political cause.
