Do you ever think that your job is pointless?
Well, one quarterback could care less that he does absolutely nothing on the job as he gets paid like a franchise quarterback.
You’ve got to meet the $40,000,000 backup quarterback who is winning at life.
Let’s face it.
We all have those days where we wake up and think to ourselves “Why the hell am I doing this job?”
It happens to the best of us.
Not to add insult to injury, but you aren’t making ungodly amounts of money by having a pointless job.
And in the NFL, there are numerous players who have massive payouts with a job more pointless than a lifeguard at an Olympic swim meet.
For example, CJ Beathard is making a whopping $2.85 million a year.
Who the hell is CJ Beathard?
Exactly.
He is the backup quarterback for the worst team in the NFL, the Jacksonville Jaguars.

But his salary is chump change compared to Chase Daniels.
Chase Daniels is another no name no one has ever heard of.
But the man is worth $40,000,000 from his career in the NFL.
In his 13 seasons in the NFL, Chase has been a backup for numerous NFL teams and has only started in five games.

To put his massive earnings into perspective, the man averages over $300,000 per pass completion in his NFL career.
In total, he is ranked the 62 highest-earning QB in NFL history all while being a backup.
Now that takes some skill.
