Perhaps the most unbearable aspect of sports over the past several years has been the virtue signaling from league executives across all sports.

The most noticeable form of this has come in changing the entire identity of some teams, most notably the Washington Redskins and Cleveland Indians losing their name.

Thankfully, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred backed down after realizing one woke crusade was a lost cause.

The Atlanta Braves seemed to be next on the woke outrage mob’s hit list, especially their renowned tomahawk chop, but following an investigation, the MLB found that the only people really offended by this were white Leftists. Shocker.

In case you didn’t already know about this war chant, it is completely badass and strikes fear in the hearts of visiting teams.

So much so that teams in the past have requested that the chant be reduced or quieted to give them an advantage.

And Atlanta is not the only team that does this . . . The Kansas City Chiefs and Florida State Seminoles, as well as high schools around the nation, also do these chants.

But like with anything that is cool, professional sports leagues are trying to put an end to it.

Recently, the woke MLB and their commissioner Rob Manfred decided to take a closer look at the Braves’ tomahawk chop.

But after some research, he found that nobody was bothered by it all around Atlanta, but rather embraced it.

“I think it’s important to understand that we have 30 markets in the country,” Manfred said. “Not all are the same. The Braves have done a phenomenal job with the Native American community. The Native American community in that region is fully supportive of the Braves’ program, including the chop. For me, that’s kind of the end of the story.”

Moving forward, the Braves have a tough battle against the Houston Astros in the 2021 World Series, and are hosting the Astros for Games 3, 4, and 5.

One thing is for certain, fans will be chopping and the red hot Atlanta Braves will be fighting for their first title since 1995.

Chop on Atlanta, Chop on.
