Over the past several years, the NFL has shoved politics down viewer’s throats.
It’s only gotten worse in 2020 with the league fully supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.
Now one of the best quarterbacks in NFL’s history has had enough and just demolished the league for its anti-American activism.
Back in the good old days, you could turn out an NFL game and watch big hits and big plays without any politics involved.
Games were an escape from our growing political world.
But over the past few years it’s clear that the NFL is more focused on shoving anti-American “woke” politics down viewers throats rather than playing football.
Who can forget when failing quarterback Colin Kaepernick started the players national anthem kneeling movement?
Now it’s gotten even worse with the NFL making every aspect of the game a political statement for Black Lives Matter.
And the NFL is trying to figure out why their television ratings are dropping faster than a rock.
Wonder why?
Well maybe one of the best quarterbacks in NFL’s history can answer this question for them.
Legendary NFL quarterback Brett Favre says viewership for professional leagues like the NBA and NFL are down because of their embrace of “woke” political activism.
While participating in a town hall with President Trump, Brett Favre was asked why he thought viewership was down for the NFL.
Favre answered, “The NBA and the NFL are struggling with lower ratings, as fans clearly do not want political messaging mixed with their sports.”
President Trump agreed with the 11-time NFL pro-bowler and added, “People don’t want to see all of the politics. They’ve got enough politics, with me and with everybody else. And they don’t want to see it with football or sports, on Sunday or whenever they happen to be watching.”
