Some of the greats throughout the NFL’s history have set their sights high on unbelievable goals.
And many of us can remember when the best in the league broke records in the game.
But Patrick Mahomes plans on doing something in the NFL that has never been done before and many see as impossible.
The NFL has been filled with amazing stories and records broken.
Many of us can still remember the persona surrounding the 1972 Dolphins with their undefeated season.
But on the opposite end of the spectrum many will never forget how the Buffalo Bills lost four straight Super Bowls back-to-back-to-back-to-back in the early ‘90s.
Well one modern star in the NFL wants to set a new record for another perfect season.
But not just any perfect season.
A perfect season with a 20-0 record.
With the added regular season game that the NFL is adding to the league this year, Patrick Mahomes wants to take the opportunity and go undefeated through the longest season yet.
Mahomes claimed to Bleacher Report that, “[t]he only record I have my eye set on breaking, which would be new this year, would be going 20-0. It’s not really a record to be broken, I guess you could say, I think 19-0 is the record right now. So going 20-0 would be awesome.”

And if there ever was a team ready to go 20-0 it would be the star-studded Kansas City Chiefs.
