The Olympics are supposed to be a time where the country unites around watching its athletes go for the gold.
But not this year.
And that’s because the U.S. Olympic team agreed to one political protest that will leave you red with rage.
The 2021 Olympics in Tokyo are going to be a cornucopia of woke political protests.
That’s all thanks to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee’s decision to allow Black Lives Matter and other anti-American protests during the upcoming Olympic trials.
According to Outkick.com, the Olympic Committee will allow the following protests:
“Wearing a hat or face mask with phrases such as ‘Black Lives Matter’ or ‘Trans Lives Matter’ or words such ‘equality’ or ‘justice.’”
“Holding up one’s fist at the start line or on the podium.”
“Kneeling on the podium or at the start line during the national anthem.”
These protests will likely carry over to the games in Tokyo.
That will only further divide Americans and cause more viewers to not watch the games.
A recent Yahoo/YouGov poll found that 35 percent of Americans watched fewer sports in 2020 because of the woke social justice messaging and anti-American political protests.
If Americans see their countrymen kneeling at the anthem podium or raising a fist in a racist symbol of black nationalism, it will cause TV sets to turn off across the country.
Resentment will also build toward protestors who are using their platform as a representative for America to attack their own nation as racist, sexist, homophobic, and transphobic.
Some had hoped with the 2020 election in the rearview mirror the political protests would fade.
But that does not appear to be the case.
