The Washington Redskins are known for being a hot mess every year in the National Football League.
But with all the bad things that Washington fans have had to endure, this has to be the worst yet.
In fact, the Washington Redskins were so crappy this past weekend that their fans were literally covered in poop.
When you think of the worst franchises in NFL history, The Washington Redskins has to be near the top of your list.
They have had some successful years.
They did win the Super Bowl in 1982, 1987, and 1991.
And players like Joe Theismann and John Riggins made them a force to be reckoned with for a handful of years.
On this day in 1983, the Washington Football Team defeated the Minnesota Vikings 21-7 in the Divisional Round.

But let’s face it.
A team that would willingly give up their nickname of “Redskins” for “Football Team” is destined to be a crappy team (EDITOR’S NOTE: Sports with Balls will continue to refer to them as the “Redskins” because that’s what true Washington fans know them as).
And unfortunately for fans, their experience at a Washington game was more crappy than usual.
While watching the Redskins get their butt kicked by the Chargers in a 20-16 loss over the weekend, some fans got more excitement than they could handle.
Out of nowhere, a sewage pipe burst and it started raining turds on the fans.

So not only will the fans have to suffer through a losing season for Washington, but now they will have to do it while covered in crap.
At least Washington will have ample time to take care of their plumbing issues by Christmas.
