Week 11 is already around the corner, and the playoff picture is starting to settle into place.

For some, the playoffs are all but certain, and for others the situation is a bit more drastic.

And for one team, it appears they’re turning to an NFL relic after realizing their rookie quarterback is not in starting form.

According to some sources, the New York Jets are planning to start veteran quarterback Joe Flacco this week against the Miami Dolphins.

Perhaps they’re looking for a little of the magic Cam Newton had with the Panthers?

This, of course, means that the Jets plan on benching rookie QB Mike White, who has had a rough start to his professional career to say the least.

As it stands, White has started the season out with 5 touchdowns, 8 interceptions and an overall passer rating of 75.1.

Ouch.

Not the start White or New York Jets fans were hoping for.

Flacco, who hasn’t had an average passer rating above 90 since the 2014 season, is seen by many as a disappointment.

Jets fans would rather see their rookie develop during an off-year than a has-been like Flacco try and get some late season wins.

Having said that, Flacco often does not get the respect he deserves.

Let’s not forget his spot in NFL history as the MVP of Super Bowl 47, and even just last week he looked nearly perfect in his touchdown drive against the Buffalo Bills.

Perhaps this could be Flacco’s big break.

As far as the Jets as a whole are concerned, they have a lot more to worry about than their quarterback situation.

The defense looks awful and their coaches are in the hot seat.

But what else is new for the Jets?

The Dolphins are no easy win either, coming off of a stunning victory against the Baltimore Ravens.

Week 11 should be very interesting for Jets fans… all eyes are on Cool Joe.
