Anybody who has watched the NFL over the last decade will tell you that the NFL has completely changed, and for the worst.

Players these days only care about one thing, and that one thing is money.

But this one newly retired football legend just tore the NFL a new one for the way these crybaby players behave nowadays.

At this point, the NFL has almost become unwatchable.

Just about every aspect of the game has declined considerably over the last decade or so.

First off, the game itself has become weak.

Penalties are called after almost every single play and kickoffs (arguably the most exciting play in football) have been severely limited.

Not to mention the league has gone completely woke.

Instead of making the game more interesting, the NFL is trying to become as pro-gay, pro-Black Lives Matter, and pro- whatever else the Left comes up with that week.

This mission to become as woke as possible has led to trannie cheerleaders and two national anthems before the games, which absolutely nobody wants.

But perhaps one of the most underreported ways the NFL has declined is the way the players act.

These days, players only care about one thing and that is money.

Forget team loyalty, forget winning, as long as these prima donnas get their paychecks then who cares about the team they are playing for.

This is most obvious after a team wins the Super Bowl.

Almost immediately, players on the winning team start demanding exorbitant contracts, which make dynasties harder than ever to form.

The good news is, some high-profile former NFL stars are starting to speak out about these concerning trends in today’s NFL.

One of those is none other than Ben Roethlisberger, who spent 18 years as the quarterback with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

During a recent interview with the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Big Ben claimed “I feel like the game has changed, I feel like the people have changed in a sense.”

He went on to say “It turned from a team-first to a me-type attitude. It was hard. It’s hard for these young guys, too. Social media. They’re treated so well in college. Now, this new NIL stuff, which is unbelievable. They’re treated so special. They’re coddled at a young age”

Big Ben hit the nail right on the head.

So many of these young players have been coddled from a young age, and instead of acting like football players, many of these young players act like pampered celebrities.

It is hard to blame them entirely.

But at the end of the day, the NFL is in serious decline due to this complete change in mentality from the players.

If the NFL ever hopes to regain its former glory, then it is time to rethink how players are treated and compensated.
