Tom Brady has made it clear over the last few years that he could care less what people think about him.

But some think he crossed the line with his comments on the Mannings’ Monday Night Football show.

And now Tom Brady is catching hell for what he had to say about defensive players while live on TV with the Mannings.

When you become the most successful person in your profession you tend to care less about what other people think about you.

And that’s been Tom Brady’s motto over the past few years as he became the most accomplished player in NFL history.

After winning seven Super Bowls you would probably stop caring about what other people think too.

Who can forget when he tossed the Lombardi Trophy from his yacht like it was meaningless?

Or how about the time Brady proudly displayed a MAGA Trump hat in his locker room?

Of course people lost their minds on both occasions.

But now he is even pissing off his fellow players.

Brady went on with the Mannings during Monday Night Football and completely shredded every defensive player in the League.

He claimed, “And the defense, would you give them any credit for being smart enough to figure that out, the jumping? Now, I wouldn’t, believe me. Have you ever been in some of those defensive meeting rooms? I mean, you wonder why they play defense and (then) after about two minutes you go, ‘Yup, they can never be an offensive player.’”

Brady continued his assault on the intelligence of defensive players by saying “Defense is kind of like a dog chasing a car – just get the guy with the ball.”

Well, clearly this pissed off Tom Brady’s former all-pro teammate Tedy Bruschi.

Bruschi was a beast of a linebacker that played on Brady’s early teams and won a couple Super Bowl rings.

Bruschi tweeted out to Brady’s comments, “Playing defense is like a dog chasing a car?!
@TomBrady is not my friend anymore.”

Bruschi has turned his talents to ESPN and the sad thing is that Tweet has to be the best football analysis he has given since joining sports broadcasting.
